My motivation

Movember is ON ! I love that month of the year where I get funny looks and smiles, questioning faces, some compliments and lots of ice breakers.

It's my 11th year joining the Movember Movement with all the Mo Bros & Mo Sisters around the world. Some years I have been more active than others fundraising, but at the end of November the result would always be a “nice” (sure, totally subjective) mo'stache! https://movember.com/m/mobromaximus?mc=1

You might ask, why am I joining this year again?
This year, probably more than ever, I'm growing a Mo as I have been personally affected by a family member being diagnosed with prostate cancer recently. We need to keep creating more awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. If they are detected and men helped early enough, your chances to survive are much higher.

Did you know that about 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime? Did you know that globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men? Did you know that we lose 60 men to suicide every hour across the world? And 73% of suicides are men?

Let's grow wisdom and change the face of men! Go challenge (wo)men to grow mo’staches during Movember to spark conversation and raise funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.

Let's grow a moustache, and create awareness too for topics apart from Coronavirus. I challenge you to grow a Mo, and in return I commit to post my grown up Mo at the end of November!
