Mental health and suicide prevention

A couple of months before my 30th birthday, I received a phone call saying my dad was found dead!

I didn’t see it coming. I was devastated. I couldn’t breathe or move – my world stood still.

After the grief came the shame and self-blame: How could I not see it? What a bad daughter I am?

I’ve learned a lot since and my biggest motivation is to help men taking better care of their mental health and to talk about their struggles. So that we can reduce the number of men killing themselves and leaving their loved ones behind.

I run/walk as a daughter, a sister, a partner, a colleague and a friend for my men out there!

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health! Help me stop men dying too young.
