Ma motivation

The fastest recorded marathon time is just over 2h, or 120 minutes. During that time, 120 men around the world took their own lives. That is one man per minute lost to suicide. Every. Minute.

I'm raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. I need your help. Please donate to support men's health.

Every day we lose too many men to preventable causes. These can be physical (testicular and prostate cancer) or mental.

For too many men around the world, crying is not an option. For too many men around the world, smiling through the pain and “locking in” is seen as a viable solution to a growing pit of darkness that swallows them whole, that makes them postpone their alarm every morning by one more minute. For too many men around the world, going to a medical appointment can be seen as a loss of virility, and they think that pushing through disease and fear is what you need to do. This is how you end up with untreated mental problems, as well as undetected prostate and testicular cancer, which claim even more lives.

The toxic relationship between men, their brains and feelings harms way too many men, and it is time to change that. Building on what I did last year, I would like to spend the next few months promoting good metal wellbeing for men, and the importance of asking for help, be it to their loved ones or to a professional.

So I WILL be locking in. Despite my hatred for distance running, I will run the Rome Marathon on 22nd March 2026, and I will do so while sporting a lovely Mo and a movember logo.
